Logo for 'Dying River'

Dying River is an extreme metal band in my hometown. Du, the singer and the leader of the band is a friend of mine. I played bass-guitar in his earlier band Cremater.

This is the band's logo I designed. There's a woman with Branchial clefts holding the Chinese characters in her palm, under her floating long hair and blood tears. At the bottom of the logo I drew a dying river in the wilderness.

Du like it very much, and the band printed the logo on their T-shirts. When they came to Beijing at the first time, there always be some fans or guys from other bands asked them "hey, which band has this logo?" or "are you guys have this logo?", and they said "yes" proudly. And this made me feel proud too.
