PRINBLE's GUI Design

Prinble User Interface Screenshot

PRINBLE is a free bookmaking software which developed by Macromedia Flash. Users can create their own book, add photos, artwork and text into it, order one or many on the internet, then they can get the real printed books. All they have to do is draging and droping images and text into hundreds of professionally designed layouts to create a book that reflects their style. Also, they can design and edit their book's text and photos with intuitive layout tools, it's very simple.

I took part in this software's developing project as the Graphic User-Interface Designer. It cost me 4 months, and it's not finished yet, but I can show you some interface's screenshots. As you see, the UI is compact, but functional.

You can choose the size when you create your books.

You can insert texts onto the page and set the properties (like the color, weight and font) of the text. I tried to express the function of the software by graphic.

Prinble User Interface Screenshot - Open Book
Open the books which have been saved already. You can see the semitransparent panel. This is easy to realize in Flash and users can get a delighted experience during the task.

Prinble User Interface Screenshot - Import Pictures
The semitransparent menu is disgorged out when you click the "Get Pictures" button. This little jugglery is stolen from the Bookmark of Safari.

Although it's in Chinese, but I think you still can understand how to use it in the rough through the graphic interface.
